In Fremont, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across California, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (510) 797-1111. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, washingtonhealth.com.
Its Google rating stands at 2.5 out of 5 from 388 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fremont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I brought my child to the ER at Washington Hospital on August 25 around 11:00 p.m. with a high fever and a complicated medical history. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. After waiting a long time, the doctor called my child using the wrong last name. When we approached the door, the doctor walked away and the door locked, leaving us standing outside confused until a nurse came to call another patient and helped us get inside. Once we spoke with the doctor, I felt that he was extremely dismissive and arrogant. He repeatedly asked what the emergency was and told us that a high fever was not an emergency. As a parent bringing in a child with multiple medical conditions, I expected our concerns to be heard and treated with compassion and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was not our first negative experience with this particular doctor. On previous occasions, we have also felt that he was rude, dismissive, and lacked compassion. I believe every patient and parent deserves to have their concerns taken seriously, especially when seeking emergency medical care for a child. I do want to make it very clear that our experiences with the other doctors, nurses, and staff

First, I would like to sincerely thank the nurses who took care of me and for the excellent work they do. You all truly inspired me, and I am very grateful for the care and compassion you showed me. However, the one thing I have difficulty understanding is the decision-making of the doctors who handled my case. I do not know whether this was hospital policy, whether they were simply doing their jobs, or whether they were following a specific protocol, but I genuinely want to understand: Is this really how it is supposed to be? I was told that if you are an inpatient and your laboratory results do not show an infection, and there are no clear signs of infection in the gallbladder, then a laparoscopic cholecystectomy cannot be performed, and that I would need to be an outpatient in order to have the surgery. This is something I sincerely want to understand. From the very beginning, when I was in the ER, I had already vomited several times—almost six times—and the vomit was yellowish. After I was transferred to a room, I vomited again. I was still experiencing abdominal pain. And They admitted me for 2 days. Eventually, I decided to discharge myself because I was told that I would

So the other night on Saturday I came to the ER and the doctor to be honest was quite rude along with a male nurse (I believe) with blonde hair especially this man by the way. My IV was not done they did not let me know I was going to be discharged until the last second and pretty much told me I had to go to the waiting room without having a ride arranged or my treatment done and mind you. I have been in some of the worst pain in my life these last two months and I have interacted with very caring and doctors that do all the steps to figure out what’s going on and to provide the best care needed. I think the treatment was okay but the rudeness and guilt that was put on me for being someone that is not in good health and needed to be taken care of and pretty much thrown out without notice was actually insane. Please do better. I do remember this doctors name Joshua nackenson and maybe he can remember that blonde male medical personale because that was actually atrocious. I have had a couple of really kind caring attentive doctors that seen me multiple times and cared to relay the information from the OB and yes I do know the ER are not specialists but where am I suppose to go in the

On May 5, 2026 at about 3:50pm, my husband called out to me and said he needed me to take him to the ER. His lower back pain had become unbearable. I was thinking “oh oooof! Hours in the ER”. And off we went. I pulled up the car, right in front of the entrance (score!) and we entered to start the process. About ten minutes later, my husband’s name was called and he was brought in for an initial evaluation. The staff that handled this part were thorough, knowledgeable, professional and empathetic. Long story short, our overall experience was WELL above our expectations. The reason for the four vs five star was due to the hour long wait while in the ER room #2 after meds had been administered. We were kind of in “the land of forgotten” until I went to the nurse station for an update. All in all, I (and my husband) were EXTREMELY impressed/satisfied with our WHHS ER experience. If you find yourself (which I would hope not) in need of emergency services, don’t overlook WHHS.

If you your loved one is in the “new building” as the staff reference the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion you practically have to walk a mile from the front registration/check-in desk at the main entrance since the hospital does not staff people there since the pandemic!!! If you have a disability of walking then please be prepare for the long walk or ask for wheelchair assistance. I have provided pictures of the walk as well.
